C & D Book show is calling for submissions for its next series of shows. Follow link for full details. To open in the summer, the closing date is 18th July, so some time for preparation - C Book show will be in Brighton at Create Studios while D is running in Helsinki, Finland at the Finnish Museum of Photography - both launch in August 2012. "Supporting both emerging and established artists, our aim is to raise the profile of artist-led photobooks, with particular focus on self-published or hand-crafted works".
Locally, it is also that time of year again...May Day Bank Holiday is fast approaching, full details of the programme are here. Green Fuse opens on 28th April ahead of these festivities, and runs until 8th May (preview 27th April) at Hastings Arts Forum.
