Events this month include the last days of Krakow's Photomonth. Sarah Leybourn writes in Photoworks' blog if you don't get to visit for yourself (image from same).
Peter Fraser is in conversation with Paul Wombell, 27th June 7pm (RSVP) "At this special event to be held at Brancolini Grimaldi, London, Peter Fraser will be discussing his latest body of work A City in the Mind with curator Paul Wombell.
Five years in the making, A City in the Mind is a highly allusive and mysterious portrait of London as a city in the imagination. The project was inspired by Italo Calvino’s novel Invisible Cities in which the explorer Marco Polo returns from his travels to describe the places he has visited to the Emperor Kublai Khan, places that he will never visit himself. Thus the cities exist only in his mind."
Meanwhile, things gather a pace with Photology monthly talks proving a great success. Next month's talk with Wendy Pye falls on the first Monday, 2nd July at Bullet, and various supporting events can also be accessed in Brighton - June's workshop for festival preparations is running on the 21st,
