Last month we brought you the great news that our iPhone App for Art in Yorkshire - supported by Tate had been shortlisted for the Insider Yorkshire Digital & Technology Awards 2012. Even though we weren't winners this time, we're delighted to have a second chance having been nominated for Best App at the Roses Creative Awards. The winner of this award will be announced at a ceremony in Manchester on 3 May 2012. Wish us luck!
Marc Fabri, Head of Technical Development left Axis March 2012
Farewell Marc Fabri
Head of Technical Development, Marc Fabri, left the team last week, after 13 years working at Axisweb, to become Senior Lecturer in Interactive Media at Leeds Metropolitan University. An invaluable member of the team, he not only developed Axisweb, but also provided IT solutions for other arts organisations. We're really missing him already... staff and students at Leeds Met are lucky to have him!
