Fantastic news from Andrew re South Coast College - the art college have just announced that they have the initial go -
ahead for an HND/C in photography, the capital bid information will
come in next week.
This is good news for photography in Hastings and for it's young
people.
If you know anyone interested in taking a two year course who have
achieved 'A' level status at school, or adults with a portfolio and an
interest in developing their skills in commercial or fine-art
photography practice, please put them in contact with David Fowler at
Sussex Coast College Hastings, (dfowler@sussexcoast.ac.uk).
The cost will be approximately £3000, per year, a third of the cost of
a full-time degree course. There is the possibility for students to
complete the top-up degree year following-on from the HND, which would
mean that they would achieve degree status.
The course will only run if the student numbers are good. Please help
to promote this initiative.
